The Bonington Theatre is one of the best equipped theatres for its size in Nottinghamshire. It is well liked by both visiting and resident performers; attracting audiences from all over north Nottinghamshire for it large and wide-ranging programme.

The theatre has a mixed programme of amateur and professional performances ranging from live music to drama and dance.

Exhibitions, conferences, fairs and film shows also form part of the line-up.

An adaptable studio theatre, it is situated in

 the Arnold Leisure Centre.

This complex is located in the centre of the town of Arnold just off the A60,

 4 miles north of Nottingham in the UK.

  

The theatre has a large car park and is well served by buses from Nottingham,

 Mansfield and the surrounding area.

Train stations are situated at

Nottingham Midland Station (4 miles to south )

and Mansfield (10 miles to north).

Nottingham East Midland Airport is some 15 miles away to the south.
